Celebrating the success of my design for Huntington Park's 6th annual 5K, I was thrilled to have my entry selected for the event's shirts! Due to high demand, I decided to create my own version of the shirts with a small twist on the original design. A heartfelt thank you to my community for your incredible support and encouragement throughout this journey.
 
Entry Statement: "I grew up in southeast LA and visited my community stores and landmarks throughout my childhood, more specifically those in the city of Huntington Park. The city’s rich culture is heavily influenced by immigrant folks paving their way towards a better future for themselves and their families. As a first generation child of an immigrant family, I never felt more at home than strolling the streets of Huntington Park to run errands with my family."
